The past couple of months we’ve had the pleasure of exploring the gardens, planting veggies, sampling herbs and much more with the kids at Riverview Elementary and the day camps at Dawson Community Center. Some highlights include preparing the soil for the upcoming season, planting beans and peppers at the Riverview Roots garden, and tasting edible flowers from the Dawson rooftop. We want to thank the kids of Verdun for their enthusiasm, curiosity and willingness to get their hands dirty! We’re looking forward to spending more time together throughout the summer as our gardens continue bloom…
